• ##### LPS-XV

The 15th edition of the annual event Lectures in probability and stochastic processes will take place from 2-6 December, 2022 in IISc. The venue is the ECE department.

• ##### In-house Postdoc-Student Symposium

A two-day symposium featuring talks by postdocs and students will take place in the department on Nov. 24 & 25, 2022.

Sir John Macleod Ball (Heriot Watt University and Oxford University) will deliver a Special Seminar.

The Ramanujan Medal Award Lecture of the Indian National Science Academy will be delivered by Kalyan B. Sinha, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research.

An IISc NTU workshop will be held on the occasion of the visit of the NTU, Singapore, delegation to IISc on September 19, 2018. The schedule of the lectures is as below.

• ##### Discussion meeting in Harmonic Analysis (in honour of Professor S Thangavelu)

A wokshop in harmonic analysis will be held at the department of mathematics from 11th of Dec to 16th of Dec. The workshop will be followed by a conference (15th discussion meeting in harmonic analysis) which is in honour of S. Thangavelu who has turned sixty this year.
