"Super Brownian Motion : Construction and Characterization" |
Abstract |
In this talk we give two constructions of the Dawson-Watanable measure-valued diffusion or superprocess. This process arises as a weak limit of a system of diffusing particles that also exhibit asymptotically critical branching. The first construction is analytical, via limits of the log-Laplace functional. The super Brownian motion can also be defined as a weak limit of the solution of the stochastic differential equation governing the particle system |
