"From data to Model: An overview of learning theory"
Abstract |
Present-day technologies have enabled the automated acquisition and storage of data in a variety of engineering and business settings. This data can be used to extract models of the underlying systems, which allows us to predict their future behavior. Learning Theory is the systematization of the process of building models from data. I will give an overview of the current state of Learning Theory, and also discuss some important problems that need to be tackled |
