A combinatorial description of some Heegaard Floer homologies

In this talk we shall briefly introduce Heegaard Floer homology for 3-manifolds

and knot Floer homology for knots in 3-manifolds. We shall construct some special

Heegaard diagrams using which some of these homologies can computed combinatorially.

We shall also talk about the special case of knot Floer homology of knots and links in S^3.
